Ransom Spirits “The Emerald 1865” is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, malted rye and rolled oats. The Emerald 1865 is the modern interpretation of a mid-1800’s Irish Whiskey. The inspiration for the recipe was provided courtesy of a British excise officer who meticulously recorded a similar Irish mash bill in 1865.
