Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a vivacious and floral single malt. With a heart aged in rare Chateau Montrose red wine casks, from Saint-Estephe in Bordeaux, this single malt has a deliciously fruity character that mingles with the soft bitterness of dark chocolate, violet and freshly cut rhubarb. The finish is fresh and long lasting with just a hint of sweetness.
A combination of 11 different cask types provides the backbone for this expression, with a combination of ex-Bourbon casks and oloroso sherry casks adding vivacity and floral aromas.
