High West Yippee Ki-Yay Rye Whiskey is double rye whiskey aged in two different types of wine barrels, creating an all-natural sipping whiskey with a pleasing aroma and smooth sweet taste. The nose features vanilla, butterscotch and brown sugar while the palate is structured around cinnamon spice, apple and a rich vanilla finish.
A hint of oak from the whiskey barrels and a hint of grapes from the wine barrels. The only thing not aged in this whiskey is the grain.
