This classic Italian red wine is bone-dry and smoothly tannic, with a medium-high body, firm acidity and subtle cherry fruit offset by notes of herbs and mushrooms. It’s velvety mouthfeel gets silkier and more elegant with ageing, and when fully mature it shows notes of vanilla and tobacco in the finish.
